we are here to help

Start your watchmaking journey with the Stirling MK III pilot watch

Our aviation inspired, hand-wound mechanical watch is back as Mark III! The modern, sunbrushed variant of the Stirling Dial beautifully catches the light with a carefully crafted small-seconds at 9 o'clock. Depending on the case choice, you will receive silver or black plated matte hands with lume filled hour and minute hands and red filled seconds hand. The watch mechanism is secured inside a 44mm stainless steel case with an ultra scratch resistant sapphire crystal and oversized crown to enable an easy winding of the movement. With its huge exhibition case back, you will see every bit of your movement in action!

Please note that a mechanical watch needs to be wound up via the crown every 48-50 hours to keep ticking.

Our watchmaking starter kits

Containing all parts, tools and instructions our kits are an ideal start into the world of horology. Learn more about the way a watch ticks, its origins and how to assemble your own automatic watch at home.

Your kit contains a detailed instruction booklet as well as access to our step-by-step video guides available on our homepage (click here for an example) to assist you through the assembly.

Safety notice: Please note that these kits are not toys and are unsuitable for children of any age. They contain small parts which can be swallowed as well as sharp tools. Please always handle the tools (especially tweezers) with utmost care and caution. Keep the ends away from your eyes, skin or any other person or animal.

The new face of your watch

Sunbrushed dial and coated hands in Deep ocean blue

Our Mark III Stirling kit contains a modern sunbrushed dial with a small seconds subdial at 9 oclock. Digits and hourmarkers are lume filled, matching the luminous hour and minute hands. The small seconds hand in bright signal red allows you to easily track small time intervals on your subdial.

HANDwound and with a beautiful finish

YOUR MOVEMENT - THE ST3600

This movement is a replica of the famous Unitas 6497-2 movement, which was originally produced by ETA in Switzerland. Once intended and designed for pocket watches, this hand-wound movement has a small seconds in a seperate sub-dial at 9 o’clock.

  • 17 Jewels
  • 21,600 beats per hour
  • Sweeping seconds hand
  • Blued screws
  • Côtes de Genève on movement bridges and balance

Revealing it all

The Stirling Case

With 44mm the stainless steel case of the Stirling is nothing for small wrists, but with its clean lines and oversized crown it is perfect for the sizeable movement and its hand-winding mechanism.
Turn the case over and you will be able to see every last detail of your
movement in action through the large see-through case back!

Securely on your wrist

A sturdy strap - Made of FKM or Sailcloth

Your watch is completed by a 22mm Sailcloth strap made of durable Nylon fibres or a completly water resistant FKM strap with a deploment clasp. Both straps benefit from the quick release spring bars enabling a strap exchange within a few seconds.
